A couple of roster announcements to come out of Saturday morning ahead of the 5 p.m. face off against the Bruins in Boston (NHL Network & 97.5 The Fanatic), which is the Flyers preseason finale.

Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that forward Corban Knight will be out three weeks with an upper-body injury.

Knight left the Flyers-Rangers game on Thursday and did not return. He has appeared in four preseason games for the Flyers, recording three points (1g-2a) and a plus-minus rating of +3.

He has also logged an average of 13:11 of ice time, most of which has come on the team's penalty killing unit, averaging 3:51 of PK time.

The club did not hold a morning skate in Boston due to the 5 p.m. start. Earlier, Hextall announced that the club has recalled defenseman Phil Myers.

Myers was loaned to the club's AHL affiliate in Lehigh Valley on Phantoms on Tuesday (Sept. 25). He appeared in one preseason game for the Phantoms, recording a goal and four shots in a 3-2 loss to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday.
